Tracy Sherman

Graduated from Russell Sage College/Sage Graduate School with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy in 2000. She has over 10 years of experience in outpatient Orthopedic care, specializing in manual therapies and exercise program development. She recently relocated to New York from Bergen County, New Jersey where she served as clinical director of her facility. While in NJ she had the pleasure of working with physicians/surgeons from Hackensack University Medical Center, Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, Hospital for Special Surgery, and The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ. She also commenced a community education series, discussing topics including Osteoporosis, Exercise and Diabetes, Shoulder Injuries, stretching for Athletes and Sittercise for Seniors.

Tracy is thrilled to be back in upstate New York and to have joined the staff at LaMarco Physical Therapy, PC. Tracy lives locally with her husband and two children, and stays active with golf, running and yoga.

Sciatica


Millions of people suffer from low back pain each day. Most are between the ages of 30 and 50, and many endure not only back pain, but also severe pain or numbness running into one or both legs. The result: loss of activity, inability to work and inability to participate in the activities we enjoy most. It is estimated that some 80 to 90% of Americans will suffer from back pain during their lifetime, about 50% of which will have more than one episode. Often times, you will hear the name “Sciatica” associated with this pain, and rightly so.
