James Markwica
Is a graduate of Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut where he attained a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy in 1999 following a Bachelor Degree in Biology in 1997. He has over 13 years experience in multiple settings including outpatient, inpatient, sub-acute rehab, cardiac rehab, traumatic brain injury rehab and home care. Additionally, James has 2 years experience as an adjunct educating staff member at Sacred Heart University in the Physical Therapy Department from 2000 - 2002.
He has worked in the outpatient setting since 2001 gaining clinical knowledge and experience in manual therapy and orthopedic, sports, spine rehabilitation for the non-, pre-/post-operative and vestibular patients. James has had the privilege to work with a wide variety of patients ranging from children to elderly adults, and professional athletes to ‘weekend warriors.’ He has also been certified by the Titleist Professional Institute as a Certified Fitness Golf Instructor, CFGI, Certified Medical Golf Professional, MP2. James lives locally with his wife Kristin. He has owned and operated LaMarco Physical Therapy, PC since June 2007
